Highlighting this year's annual show, "What's the Answer?" at Roosevelt Junior High School on Thursday and Friday, March 13 and 14, and providing

lots of pep and sparkle will be a variety of dances and specialty numbers.

Under the direction of Miss Elizabeth G. Boyle the following dance groups will demonstrate their ability as dancers: The Waltz Clog and "Liechtensteiner Polka", Maxine Anspach, Sandra Boor, Marcia Barclay, Nancy Etienne, June Hooper, Debby Oswald, Pamela Patt, Carol Summers, Diane Swan and Sharon Swope.

"The Hop", a modern jitterbug, Joan Beauchamp, Jackie Blackwell, Bonnie Kauffman, Patrick Kensinger, Sandra McCoy, Linda Robinson, Gloria Rupert, Diane Rush, Bill Bowers, Jim Crum, Frank DeLeo, Richard Geist, Jeo Schuster, Bill Sigel, Wilbur Walk, and George Young; a comedy number by "Professors" Raymond Coffman, Richard Geist, Richard Mitkowski and Kenneth Showalter. The Umbrella Dancers, Thursday -- Betty Colabove, Cora Dean, Judy Means, Carol Paterick, Patty Poirrier and Gloria Stiffler; Friday -- Mary Lou Brown, Jackie Evans, Evelyn Forshey, Joy Pansi,

Romayne Pittman, and Mary Pringle.

Marjorie Boyer will do in ballet her interpretation of the page in the operetta, "Ask the Professor"!

Appearing in the spotlight be- tween acts of the operetta will be two special attractions, the majorettes and the tumblers. This year the majorettes,under the leadership of Sue Ziegler will perform a routine to "Gypsy Tarentella." The majorettes include: Cora Dean, Jackie Ferris, Linda Harper, Jane Hooper Barbara Mantz, Kay McGirk, Judy Morvan, Judy Means, Thursday: and Bonnie Barefoot, Judy Kensinger, Carol Lego, Judy Long, Judy Myers, Cora Quay, Kathie Sipes, Diane Sevan, Friday.

The tumblers are Dallas Butler, Jerry Butler, Bill Dibert, Albert, Endress Norman Fassano, Clair Ferguson, Tom Hagan, Malcolm Langham, James Neil, Terry Painter and Tom Painter. Harry Dinges in the instructor.

Providing the musical backbone for the entire show will be the school orchestra under the directiontion of Ray S. Detwiler. For the overture the orchestra will play a melody of music by Eduard Grieg from the Broadway musical "Song of Norway."

Between the play and the operetta two instrumental specialty groups will be featured, The Singing Strings comprised of Kathy Dietzel and Carole Reifsteck, violin, Linda Ross, viola, Peggy Benton, cello, Marguerite Quateara, bass, and June Metzker, piano, will play "When I Grow Too Old To Dream" by Sigmund Romberg.

The Trumpet Trio with Walter Baer, Alan Clinger and Karl Miller, accompanied by Carole Reifsteck on the piano, has chosen "My Buddy Polka" by Ervin Kleffman as its selection. Throughout the operetta the orchestra will provide accompaniment for such groups as the choruses, the dancers, the majorettes, and the tumblers.

Tickets for "What's the Answer?" may be obtained by contacting any Roosevelt student or by calling Miss Marjorie Reid in the school office. Reserved seat tickets are still available for the Thursday performance.
