Instructions for Rabbit Model 1

Mountain Fold

Valley Fold

1. Take a square sheet of paper (6 in. X 6 in. is a good size) and place the colored side face down; unless both sides are the same color, then it doesn't matter. Valley fold the paper in half, diagonally.

2. Fold the two corners along the diagonal crease that you made in step 1.

3. Fold the bottom portion of the paper up.

4. Fold down part of the paper that you folded in step 3 so that it sticks off the edge about 1/2 in.

5. Turn the form over.

6. Fold the little triangle section up. This part will be the tail.

7. Valley fold the upper half of the form back so that the tip meets the tail.

8. The form should now look like this.

9. Mountain fold the form in half. Pull the part folded in step 7 upward and crease. This is the head and ears. Then, on both sides, valley fold the bottom right corner like this picture shows, to make the feet.

9. The paper bunny can be considered finished up to step 9 but if you want to, you can draw an eye on both sides with a pen or marker, cut the ears halfway down the middle so they will be separated, and cut a section of the body out to make him look like he's hopping.
